I especially like the conservatory.

I have a passion for conservatories.

Kitchen and bathroom are my favourite rooms.

Hello readers!!

Finally I can show you some photos of my house.

Let me say, there's not so much to show yet....

Anyway, since most of you are curious and

write me lots of sweet mails about my house

here what I'm able to show you so far

This is my living room. It's very sunny and big. As you can see I inherited a bed....

I'm thinking about painting it in white, what do you think????

This is my kitchen's wall with new tiles. The opposite wall will be covered with

white wood boiserie. The walls are light vanilla. I will soon share with you my project for kitchen furniture....

Now the bathrooms

Bathroom n. 1

BEFORE

I know you can understand why I had a shock when I first saw it....

This bathroom has shower

AFTER

Totally different.....The floor and walls are light pink now and

tiles are white!

Bathroom n.2

BEFORE

In this bathroom floor and tiles on the walls were grey....

AFTER

Now the tiles are white  with a tone of pink. The floor is white.

As you can see there' s soooo much to clean.....

This bathroom will be painted in light lavender.

I wanted wood boiserie around the tub but I decided for the tiles since the house

is not mine and I would have spent too much....

This is my room.  The walls are in a white/vanilla.

As you can see we are still finishing to put parquet....

I hope we will be able to finish next Saturday!

And this is the small hallway heading to the second bedroom.

I hope to show you more very soon....

A decadent bliss

Finally it's Saturday again.

I'm going to pack a large bag

get in my car

and drive for 1 hour to reach my friends

in Parma.

I think I will make some shopping too

New books on the way

I'm a bit in stand by with my readings.
I do not read a book  since I closed the last page of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
Do you remember?

Now, I really need to read something relaxing, romantic and funny. Any suggestion?
I am very affectionate to some English writers, I'm truly addicted to their books. I even don't wait for translation in Italian, since it takes months to have their books in my country and I really can't wait. So I usually go to amazon and after a few days I have my books in my hands. Delightful sensation!!!

So, I happened to know that two of these favourite writers are almost ready with their latest work.
Can you imagine I'm counting the days to these books' release....

I love Katie Fforde's books. They're so romantic and positive. Her heroines are strong and funny and they always find love and the job of their dreams. It sounds so easy....but it's nice to dream for a few hours and forget the rest. It takes no more than two or three days to read her books, I devour them.

Mini Shopaholic

Aren't you a big fan of Sophie Kinsella? I am....I have all her books, I read them twice or more. They work better than 'happiness pill'. Reading her books is a moment of pure joy for me.

I like the great and heavy readings, the best sellers, the books everyone talk about, the serious ones, the storic ones. When I was 14 I used to read Shakespeare. Now, I need to laugh and dream a little bit. I'm getting old I know, and having a sort of regression.....Funny uh?

I really can't wait to read this very one. Becky Bloomwood and her daughter Minnie going for shopping.

How much fun this must be!!

Many of you are asking about my home.

I really apologize for not showing images of my work in progress.

The fact is that my works have been long delayed.

Now, bathroms are almost ready, withing the week I'm having the final

painting done for bathrooms and the 2nd bedroom, where I still have to put the wooden floor.

But next week I hope I can finally  go to Ikea to order the kitchen, the sofa and the bathroom furniture!!

Things are going a bit slower than I thought

I guess the house won't be ready before July.

It's really hard to do so many things when you work 8 hours a day....

I hope you can understand and believe that sooner or later I will share some photos with you.
